Hello, again!
In my freetime you can catch me talking to my baby niece to strengthen her language development, lifting weights at the gym or obsessing over SweetGreen salads.
+ I’m an ENFJ and a Scorpio (passionate, ambitious, full of imagination, assertive, loyal and honest)
✹ Santana Tile:
For 10+ years I’ve been my fathers right hand in his subcontracting tile business. He is a native Spanish speaker so I oversaw 100% of communication with clients, contractors, architects and designers.
How does this relate to UX?
I’ve grown up being an excellent communicator within diverse groups which allows me to collaborate efficiently and articulate my design decisions.
I single-handedly translated from English to Spanish and became familiar with scopes of work, problem solving, conflict resolution and paying attention to detail.
✹ California Elwyn:
I worked here for 3 years as a Program Instructor directly interacting with adults with cognitive impairments everyday. I was responsible not only for their safety, but their involvement in the community, meeting their needs and teaching them all the things they desired to learn.
How does this relate to UX?
I gave my clients the ability to voice their needs to me by asking them for feedback on my services to them daily.
I observed remotely as they tried to learn new technologies and was able to advocate for their technical needs.
✹ Efy Designs:
My small party craft business that kept me afloat during the pandemic.
How does this relate to UX?
I strongly relied on design principles relating to typography, scale and color to ensure my clients received high quality work.
I utilized a design software (Cricut Design Space) to bring my digital designs into physical paper crafts. The UX factor here was designing for a client, and ensuring they were thrilled with the outcome.
